Dolls Of The World Collection 1991

1.Czechoslovakia Doll

Czechoslovakian Barbie doll is dressed for a lavish festival, wearing a traditional Slovakian costume. This brightly colored ensemble features a full flowered skirt with lacy border, a blouse with frilly collar and big sleeves, red tights, and black "lace-up" boots. Her long braided blond hair is tied with a red ribbon, and her waist, too, is cinched with a red sash.

















2.Malaysia Doll


Malaysian Barbie doll wears an ornate costume usually reserved for special occasions like weddings and holidays. Her colorful dress and accompanying sash represent batik, a traditional Malaysian craft of combining waxes and dyes. Her overcoat is a rich pink color, and complementing her rosy complexion.Malaysian Barbie doll's hair is pulled back and tied with colorful flowers.



















3.Eskimo Doll

Eskimo Barbie is bundled up for the freezing temperatures of her Arctic homeland. Her white, faux fur-trimmed coat is oversized to protect her from the cold elements. She also wears warm white knee-high boots for when she has to walk through the snow. Her fur-trimmed hood can be pulled tightly around her face when the icy wind picks up.



















4.Parisian Doll

Bonjour (hello) from Paris, France! Parisian Barbie is dressed in the latest French fashions. Her pink dress is trimmed in black lace, and fitted on top, with a flared skirt. A white ruffle lines the bottom and underside of her dress. Parisian Barbie doll's blond hair is swept away from her face, tied on top of her head, and accented with a colorful "feather." For dramatic flair, Barbie wears black stockings, shoes, and a daring choker.















5.Scotland Doll

Scottish Barbie doll is a vision of national pride in this patriotic costume. She wears a long plaid skirt, a black blouse with lacy trim, with a matching plaid sash across her chest Her long wavy red hair cascades over her shoulders, and is crowned with a Scottish beret-style hat.
